This question is asked multiple times a day on the socials, and rightly so, when we are leaving the conventional way of life, you worry about the impact this will have on the most important people in your life… your kids!!

In my year of planning our big adventure, marking out all the exciting places to go, How I was going to educate my kids was running parallel with all my research and scrolling time. It was always on my mind…. sound familiar?

I want to be completely honest with you - I got so stressed about home-schooling, in the beginning.

I guess I had my own insecurities in my abilities as home educator, and constantly felt overwhelmed at the responsibility of it all.

Early on in our trip, we had some challenging times trying to get Maddie to do anything remotely school work related and it stressed me out so much. I felt like I was failing her and had made the wrong decision to pull her out of school and to home educate while travelling Australia.

I must admit, during my time researching about the dinosaur trail, I found it hard to locate the information I needed and I spent a lot of time online trying to plan our days and piece together the must see activities at each location.

There was so much that I wish I had known when I arrived at each of the attractions that would have been helpful to know beforehand to make our day more enjoyable.
