Time is its own currency.
Time! Is it’s own currency.
When you think about it, it is far more valuable than money. You can always make more money, but time… time, you can never get back, and you can never make more.
When we made the decision to come on this trip, I was always busy.
And I was always sick of being busy.
I had the mindset that if I just finish this and that, then next week I can have MORE TIME to relax and be with my family, I can be more present, have more time to listen and connect with them.
Do you know what? … it never came, that golden magical moment of having all the tasks done?
It is a myth.
There will always be something else to do.
We place so much value and though and brain power on money,
How we are going to making it
best way to invest it
how to make more
how to Spending it wisely
wasting it.
spending time together on a nature walk in Agnes Waters with my kids was a very good investment of my time.
The list goes on…
The same correlation can be said for time:
How are you going to invest your time?
Who are you going to give your time too?
How are you going to spend your time?
How are you going to divide your time wisely?
Are you wasting your time?
-On a job you hate?
-Worrying about something that happened in the past That you cannot change?
I have always tried to sit down and give my full attention to my kids when I read them stories. This is easier now we are on the road as we are not rushing to school in the mornings, or to put them in bed in the evenings, as much as we used to.
I guess my point is - Unless it is the day that Jesus calls you home,
We are all given EXACTLY the SAME AMOUNT of time each day.
No one person gets more time in a day than another person.. maybe its time we start being pro-active in spending our time meaningfully and intentionally don’t you?
